Hello guys, a friend of mine from the UK just pointed me to something that might create some interesting brain waves in your curious minds: a series of books about the Discworld “a flat world balanced on the backs of four elephants which are in turn standing on the back of a giant turtle” (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworld for more details.)
We should have a look at it in our trip to the far end of the Galaxy.
Does any of you know something about it ? What does the HG2G say about this world at the far end of the Galaxy?

I thought I had to tell you that I feel very depressed…
When I first saw your post, I’ve seen the words in blue “a flat world”. I thought you wanted us to read a business book because when I was in the UK, I’ve heard about a business book called “The World Is Flat”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_world_is_flat). Which made me extremely afraid, you can imagine. As when you have to eat some Marmite and you don’t like it because you are not as strange as the English people. Or as when you have to use a teleport and there is no guidance system installed on it.
But after I’ve read your article, I’ve seen that there is nothing to be afraid of, but just a book to read if you feel very depressed(depressed because someone wants you to read that book).
